12 Plumber Website Examples That Actually Generate Jobs (2026)

Twelve plumber website examples that generate jobs, reviewed by Bee Viral

Twelve real plumber website examples pulled apart honestly: what each one gets right, what it is missing, and the 8 things every plumbing site needs in 2026.

Most plumbing websites are brochures. They sit there looking tidy, they never appear for the searches that matter, and the phone number is somewhere near the bottom in grey text. The homeowner with water coming through the ceiling gives up and rings the next one down the list.

So here are twelve plumber website examples worth learning from. Three are ours, which we have said plainly. Nine belong to other plumbing and heating firms around the UK, and we have been fair about those: what each one does well, and one thing we would change. If you are weighing up website design for plumbers, this is a faster education than any brochure.

One thing to say up front. We opened every site on this list ourselves in July 2026, and we only comment on what is actually on the page. We have not measured anyone's traffic or rankings, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.

1. Eco Heat Surge, Barnsley

Adam and Danny run a family-owned Gas Safe heating firm going up against national boiler brands, and their site (one of ours, see the Bee Viral portfolio) is built on one idea: making contact the easiest thing on the screen.

WhatsApp messages that arrive already written, a call button that follows you down the page, and round-the-clock emergency positioning for the "boiler broken, tap to call" moment.

The trust work is the clever part. Not one stock photo anywhere, a 19-photo record of genuine installations, Gas Safe verification that links to the register, and approved-installer badges from Ideal and Alpha.

Finance is priced per service, from £29 a month on boilers, with grant eligibility checks alongside it, so the money objection is dealt with before anyone rings.

What we would add next: town-level pages, so each village around Barnsley has something of its own to rank with.

2. Verity Heating Solutions, Barnsley

Joe Haywood is one man with a van, twelve years on the tools and a five-star record on every review he has ever had.

A sole trader has a harder job than a firm: he has to look legitimate in about three seconds. So his site prints his Gas Safe registration in full, 633652, so a homeowner can look him up before they even dial.

Contact never leaves the screen. There is a phone number in the header, a call button and a quote link in the hero, WhatsApp on every page and a line answered at any hour, plus a fixed call bar at the foot of the display on a phone.

The quote form is short on purpose. Asking for a price should feel no more effort than sending a text, and that is what most plumbing sites get wrong.

What we would add next: a gallery of finished bathrooms, because he does full installs and the site undersells that.

3. FRM Electrical, South Yorkshire

Not a plumber, but the lesson transfers exactly, which is why it is here. Darren Freeman has wired Amazon depots and Barnsley Council buildings for over twenty years, and his old website did not say any of that. The rebuild leads with credentials: NICEIC, CHAS and JIB, next to the actual client roster.

The bit plumbers should steal is the solar estimator. It is an interactive tool that gives a homeowner a number instead of a form, and it captures a qualified enquiry in exchange.

A plumber could do the same with a boiler sizing or replacement estimator. Alongside it sits a project gallery of real commercial work, which is what a big client checks before ringing.

What we would add next: written case studies with outcomes, not just photographs of finished jobs.

4. Harris Heating, Leeds

A family firm in Yeadon, started by Trevor Harris and now run by his daughter and son-in-law. Harris Heating is the best example on this list of stacking proof.

The page carries a Checkatrade score of 9.7, links out to Google, Checkatrade and Which? Trusted Trader reviews, names its Gas Safe registration and its Worcester Bosch partnership, and mentions winning Boiler and Heating Installer of the Year for Yorkshire.

Practical touches too: a landline and a WhatsApp number, opening hours stated plainly with a 24-hour voicemail, a quote form on the home page, and finance through a credit broker so a new boiler can be paid monthly.

One thing that could be better: there is no gallery of their own finished work, which is a shame for a firm with that much proof elsewhere.

5. S Fearn Plumbing and Heating, Leeds

A Roundhay firm going back to 2010, and the most forward-looking site here. S Fearn gives heat pumps their own page alongside boilers, plumbing, underfloor heating and bathrooms, which is exactly where domestic heating work is heading.

A ten-year Which? Trusted Trader badge sits next to Worcester Bosch and Vaillant logos, and Gas Safe registration is named up front.

There is a photo gallery of completed work and a blog that is actually maintained, which is more than most trade sites manage.

Office hours are honest as well: Monday to Friday, eight until half four, no pretending to be a 24-hour operation.

One thing that could be better: no star ratings anywhere on the page. Testimonials get a mention, but a visible Google rating does more work than a paragraph.

6. Simon Birch Plumbing and Heating, Basingstoke

If you only copy one thing from this article, copy what Simon Birch has done with local pages. Alongside Basingstoke there are pages for Chineham, Whitchurch, Andover, Winchester, Alton and Hook. That is how a small firm turns up for "plumber in Andover" without spending a penny on ads.

The enquiry route is strong as well. There is a free quotation form on the home page plus a multi-question quote generator that gathers the detail of the job before he has to phone anybody, WhatsApp for the people who prefer typing, a gallery in the navigation, and a local Neighbourhood Faves award from 2023.

One thing that could be better: no Gas Safe number displayed on the page. For a firm doing boiler work that is the single easiest trust win available, and it is missing.

7. Nottingham Gas and Plumbing

The most complete lead machine among the nine. Nottingham Gas and Plumbing shows a 4.8 average rating, a 24/7 line for emergency work, and four separate credentials: Gas Safe, WaterSafe, City and Guilds, and APHC membership.

There is a Book Online route as well as a quote request, which is rare on a trade site and exactly right for servicing and gas safety certificates.

It also names fourteen towns it covers, from Mansfield and Newark to Beeston and Ilkeston, and the service pages are split properly across boiler, heating, plumbing, gas and air conditioning.

One thing that could be better: those fourteen towns are a list, not fourteen pages. Turning even half of them into real pages would be the biggest single win available to this site.

8. Heat Safe Gas Services, Newcastle-under-Lyme

Covering Staffordshire and Cheshire, Heat Safe Gas does proof better than most. There is a gallery of completed work and, more unusually, testimonials with customer photographs next to them, which is far harder to fake than a wall of italic text. Gas Safe, Checkatrade, TrustATrader, City and Guilds and a Baxi partnership are all named.

Contact is genuinely modern for a small heating firm: two phone numbers, WhatsApp, and a live chat option on the page for people who will not ring at all.

One thing that could be better: no quote form on the home page. Everything funnels into a conversation, and some of those enquiries will simply drift away rather than start a chat at ten at night.

9. CW Services Plumbing and Heating, South London

A Brixton firm covering a long list of South London postcodes. What lifts CW Services is verifiable credentials: the Gas Safe number 233012 is on the page with a link to check it, and CIPHE membership 00042756 sits alongside it. Anyone can confirm both in under a minute, which is precisely the point.

Add manufacturer logos for Worcester, Vaillant, Nest and Ideal, a gallery of real jobs, a deep set of service pages under boilers, plumbing and gas, a maintained blog, and WhatsApp next to the landline. For a city firm competing with national outfits, it is a solid piece of work.

One thing that could be better: the postcode coverage is a list rather than pages, and a reviews page exists without the ratings being pulled onto the home page where they would earn their keep.

10. Cosywarm, Cardiff

A Whitchurch outfit covering Cardiff and South Wales. Cosywarm takes the multi-trade route: plumbing, gas, central heating, bathrooms, kitchens and electricians all get their own page.

Done badly that looks unfocused. Done like this, with Gas Safe approval, Worcester Bosch accreditation and Which? Trusted Trader all named, it reads as a firm that can handle a whole refit.

The phone number and a full address are both easy to find, which sounds trivial until you notice how many trade sites hide one or the other, and free quotes are offered clearly.

One thing that could be better: no reviews or job photos anywhere. This is a firm making strong claims with nothing on the page to back them, and a handful of real photographs would fix it in an afternoon.

11. Bristol Plumbing Services

Twenty years in Kingswood, and Bristol Plumbing Services has taken service pages further than anyone else here. Not just "plumbing", but individual pages for taps, toilets, sinks, showers and radiators.

That is how you turn up for "dripping tap repair Bristol" while your competitors have one page called Services.

There is WhatsApp, image galleries on the service pages, a blog offering genuine advice, and a review link that invites customers to leave feedback rather than hoping they will.

One thing that could be better: no Gas Safe registration or trade accreditation shown on the page. For plumbing-only work that matters less, but the moment gas is involved a homeowner will look for it.

12. RSH Plumbing and Heating, Leeds and Bradford

Going since 2010 across Leeds, Bradford and wider Yorkshire, RSH leads on availability: 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, which is the right message for emergency work.

Gas Safe registration 558571 is published, two million pounds of public liability cover is stated, and there are separate pages for Leeds, Wakefield and York.

It also sells the thing most plumbers forget to sell: boiler care plans and home cover packages, which turn one-off customers into monthly income. Commercial work gets its own page too.

One thing that could be better: no enquiry form at all. Every route is a phone call, and the visitor who wants to send details of a bathroom job at nine in the evening has nowhere to do it.

What every plumber website needs in 2026

Twelve sites, one pattern. Here is the checklist, in the order a homeowner meets it.

  • The phone number in the top corner on every page, tappable on a phone, not tucked into the footer.
  • A quote form short enough to finish one-handed, asking for the job, the postcode and a photo.
  • Your Gas Safe number written out, ideally linking to the register so anyone can check it.
  • Google reviews or a star rating visible on the home page, not hidden behind a Reviews tab.
  • One page per service, split as narrowly as your work genuinely splits.
  • One page per town you actually cover, because a list of place names is not a page.
  • Speed on a mid-range phone on mobile data. Google treats the experience of using a page as part of how it judges it.
  • A WhatsApp button, because a good share of people under forty will type rather than ring.

On that seventh point, Google is careful in its page experience guidance to say there is no single signal that decides rankings, but a page that works properly on a phone is part of what its systems look at.

A plumbing site that takes eight seconds on 4G is losing the visitor long before Google gets involved anyway.

How much do these websites cost?

Broadly, the sites on this list sit in two brackets. A tidy build with real service pages, proof and a working quote form is usually a one-off £1,500 to £3,000 from a specialist.

Add proper online booking and you are nearer £2,500 to £3,500. Our own builds begin at £1,500 with £39 a month, or £2,500 with £59 a month once booking and town pages are included.

The full picture, including the rented-website trap and the monthly fees nobody puts in the quote, is in our guide to what a plumber should pay for a website. Worth ten minutes before you accept any quote.

If booking is the part you care about, our booking systems page covers how it works on a trade diary, and every tier is laid out with its price on the packages page so you can see where your budget lands.

Frequently asked questions

What makes a good plumber website?

A good plumbing site answers three questions before a homeowner has to scroll: what you do, where you do it, and how fast they can reach you.

Everything after that is proof, so real job photos, your Gas Safe number and your Google reviews on the page. If someone with a leaking pipe cannot ring you within one tap, the design has failed no matter how smart it looks.

Should a plumber website have online booking?

For fixed-price work, yes. Boiler services, landlord gas safety certificates and annual checks all have a known length and price, so letting people pick a slot saves you a pile of phone calls.

Emergencies and bathroom quotes are different: those need a form that captures the job, the postcode and a photo. Most plumbers want both, with booking on the predictable jobs only.

How many pages should a plumber website have?

Six to fifteen suits most plumbers. You want a home page, an about page, a contact page, one page per main service, and one page per town you genuinely work in.

A five-page site with everything crammed onto one services page gives Google almost nothing to match against a search like "boiler repair Rotherham". Depth beats a bigger menu.

Do plumbers really get work from their website?

Yes, when the site is findable and easy to act on. A homeowner with no hot water searches, opens two or three sites, and rings whichever one loads first and looks legitimate. That is your website doing the selling before you speak.

A site nobody can find, or one that hides the phone number, genuinely does nothing, which is why the examples on this page matter.

Want a site like the ones on this list?

Drop us a line on WhatsApp and you can have the same treatment we just gave these twelve: a free 10-point check across your site and your Google listing.

You get back a blunt list of the things quietly turning visitors away, and whether fixing them means a rebuild or twenty minutes of work. Nothing to sign.

And if you take nothing else from these plumber website examples: proof, towns, and a one-tap phone number. The rest is decoration.
